December 26, 200520 yr so i got a parts car in the JY i can cannibalize for this swap, but i need to know how the heck im going to get the rear hubs out of the XT6..........do they just "slide" out with a little "effort" or do i have to buy the whole rear "knuckle" assembly and have the hub pressed out? i tried a couple search parameters and not much of anything came up pertaining to my dilemna. anyway, if you know how im supposed to do this, please by all means learn me somethin'. ~Josh~
December 26, 200520 yr From what I understand, the rear of the conversion is simple. After you remove the castle nut, and caliper, the hub should slide off the splines like any older subaru. Then you remove the backing plate and whatnot. Shouldnt take any effort at all. -Brian

December 26, 200520 yr Sometimes a couple good taps with a large rubber mallet will help persuade the hubs to come off.
December 26, 200520 yr just take off the rear disks/hub w/ the rear swing arms. doing so you will have mounting points to add a rear swaybar;)

December 26, 200520 yr Author thats go to know.......but with the accord rear springs on my GL, it is too stiff as is, it would probably oversteer if i even mentioned the word oversteer. ~Josh~
