October 9, 200322 yr Author I was showing that pic of the ea-81 cop car to my lady, cuz she didn't believe it, then we ran into the even more rediculous pic of mickey driving the 360!! I guess by the story on the website, it was a New Zealand parking enforcement vehicle, and this guy that worked for the gov. went around restoring all the old cars used by the cty, 'cept he decided the restore it as a cop car! Gotta say, I would stomp the gas if I saw that thing pulling me over!!
October 9, 200322 yr Author you can find it by searching "subaru police" on google's image search..there's actually a bunch oif hits, including a WRX cop, a legacy cop, an ea-81, and a wagon (i think)...pretty cool

Note the machine guns disguised as turn signals. It is what is left of an early, failed, Subaru attempt to obtain lucrative government contracts in the law enforcement field. Most were picked up by collectors and the rest were destroyed. Anybody want to buy some swamp land in Florida?
