kevinsUBARU
No way it will be a 2 door. Probably a Hybrid with borrowed technology from Toyota. Ditch the rims and it looks nice
Dr. RX
It will be a two door, there is a rumor out there that this will replace the Impreza, which it has been said will be a new model about the time this hits the showrooms, I hope not. It does have pretty good horsepower, somewhere around that of the first US WRX. I certainly hope there is a different choice of interior colors. aceboxer
TPH stands for "Turbo Parallel Hybrid" More info: http://www.automobilemag.com/auto_shows/tokyo/0511_subaru_b5/ and here: http://www.japanesecarfans.com/news.cfm/newsid/2050928.009 Maybe when the nest is empty and a two-door is practical. Bring the hatchback back
Andyjo
"Subaru says while there are no plans to build a car that looks like the B5-TPH (which sits on a modified Legacy platform), some variation of TPH is likely for production, maybe in the Legacy or Forester, by 2007." eh i wouldn't mind an electric motor... damn gas prices are crazy back here in NY
dougl4422
Does this car look like a running shoe to anyone else?
kevinsUBARU
There is a 3 page article about it in the Winter 2006 Drive Magazine. I just got it today, and it was a good read with nice pictures. At just a hare over 3,000lbs, I bet it will be pretty quick ride. I still will be surprised if it is produced in 2-door form.
