It's not even original!! I was expecting an old-lady garage queen...but he's had it totally redone with reproduction and non-original parts.

Those are some old pictures. I remember seeing those pictures about 8 years ago when I 1st started getting into subarus. I'd like to see some current pix, expecially if he thinks he's gonna get 25k for that thing :)

If you paid $25k for that thing, I think you would definately have to adhere to the motto "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas." Because if your friends found out about how much you paid they would set you up for crack addiction rehab.

i`d put cash on it that the guy will NEVER get more than 5k for that car

yea if they guy with the rising sun 360 with 1mile on it cant get 19k then this thing will never sell........

but it would be cool if there were a bidding war and it went to 25k

Awesome, I sent them a message via eBay, basically saying that if someone is dumb enough out there to bid 5 times what the car is worth if it was the last car on Earth, then they ( seller ) sure deserve to get the money from the idiot. Never hurts to ask! Ha! And I thought I saw it all on eBay...phew...

I say we all offer him $50-300 for it before the auction dies a miserable death.

Well, you can dress it up but you can't sell it anywhere.:-p

i emailed and asked him if he wanted $2500, and that $25,000 must have been a misprint, and i got a snotty response:-p

lets face it, new the car was probly around 4-5k right? so i guess he thinks the value should appreciate 5 times in 29 years:confused:

It was so funny that I had to do it. I went on eBay and submitted a Best Offer of $1000 with conditions:

--$1000 includes shipping to zip 64086, in condition as pictured, within 24 hours of offer acceptance. Thank you for your consideration.--

Needless to say I was declined. I almost felt bad for yanking someone's chain, but I figure if you set yourself up with something this ridiculous, you deserve it, and it is my duty to mess with them. Heh heh...

Everyone should go and offer like $5.00 or something, with the condition that this includes shipping to your door. No worries on your end, but fun and likely to drive the person nuts...ha!

Maybe I'll see if he would be interested in an even trade for a grilled cheese sandwich that looks like the virgin mary, or a hotdog from a Seahawks game. :D :D :D

Maybe this guy's wife is hassling him to get rid of his old cars, so he said "fine, I'll put it on Ebay" and listed it so high nobody would buy it. There's no way he did any research into the value of that car and came up with that price.
