February 20, 200620 yr I have an 1989 push button 4WD and I really want to convert to D/R Do i need to change my gear ratios, will a LSD from an RX work in my car?
February 20, 200620 yr Usually all 5spd 4wd trannies have 3.9 rear diffs. There is a sticker on the back of the diff that will tell what the ratio is. Unless its a turbo, then the ratio would be 3.7.
February 20, 200620 yr it's a matter of matching numbers "normal" lsd is 3.7 if you have 3.9 trans, there are some 3.9 lsd available, or you could convert one yourself
