March 16, 200620 yr Turbo? Did you get your crossover pipe too hot? If it's a turbo, it could mean your cat is clogged. I think I spy a downpipe in the pic. Oh did you blow an exhaust gasket?
March 16, 200620 yr I'm afraid you got yourself a boat anchor bolted to your transmission. Rubbish. In the 10+ EA82 motors I have had. Ranging from 60 to 200k+, every single one has had belt covers with at least some level of meltage. I do admit that pic is a little extreme, but it could be as simple as a leaky exhaust gasket.
