What is that light from?

new toyota corrola. found it the cars junk yard.

if you want to do so,you have to find one that won't have long back because if it will be longer in the back, the glove box wont close.

the toyota map light is perfect for this, bigger won't fit.

Just a query - did your glovebox have the original "glovebox light" in the car? My 91 DL did not have one till I took it out of a Touring Wagon.

no, i dont have the original one.

do you have pic of the original one? how it looks like?

Well its not going to be nearly as bright as the one you have made.. put it that way :D It is switch activated (when you open the glovebox) to a constant power source.

You could not have asked for a more difficult thing to photograph :-p The first shot shows where its screwed in - the second one shows the view from looking up inside the glovebox.

Moshem I think I have seen before that you have had trouble getting parts in your area for your car before. If you ever need help, give me a holler. Keeping in mind, we Australians have RHD cars - so not all parts are the same.

Hope it helps :)

I am unsure if American Loyales do have the light (we call any EA82 an L Series) - but Australian Touring Wagons and Royales do in Australia. Still, I like your idea - quite good :)
