Oh contrare - there are more models out there than you know son. It's probably a dual carb 1600 or something. No on the turbo tho - those came later. Here's some examples from my archive: And these are in my collection: GD

April 2, 200620 yr I tend to agree with GD, it's a variant on what would be our DL or GLF hardtops of that year. For the most part, the car should conform to their specs. In the US, the 1600cc's were all manuals, so I'm guessing this one is too? So then the way to tell which one it is a variant of, I guess, would be first to check the dash to see if it looks like a DL's dash or a GL's. Then look under the hood at number of carbies to see if GD is right about that.
April 2, 200620 yr Dual carb - high compression (9.5:1) 1600. Pushing 77 HP. That's more than a stock US 1800.... only got 73 HP. Interesting. GD

GD Ok, so it's a gf dual carb ? the car's documents says 1980 model, but i think probably is, in fact something like : http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/80s/specs/general/1979gfcp.html ... and the exterior looks like : http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/80s/specs/general/1981glf.html I'm in Bogota, Colombia, and sometimes the models doesn't change, specially oldies models . Thanks a lot ... i will posting pics A.S.A.P. when, i have my subaru
April 3, 200620 yr Pretty sure you'll find that it IS a 1980 as the GFT hard top I don't beleive existed as a Gen 1 body style. It will be the "EA81" gen 2 body style almost certainly. GD
