ericem
Hi, i have a 93 leg wagon L(no air suspension), and saw a pair of new 17" rims set of four with brand new tires, and the tires were called 215/45ZR17 Sumitomo HTR+, so i was wondering if it was a good deal for $800 plus shipping and duties? and the rims were new off a toyota, but he said they fit 92-06 leg. U think the ride will make a large differance?

U think the ride will make a large differance? I'd avoid them as they likely have incorrect offset for Soobs. getting some soob takeoffs would probably be OK. check http://www.tirerack.com for info on rim and tire specs, reviews of tires and even a way to enter you car ,select the body color, and 'try on' different kinds of rims. Its a good resource even if you don't do business with them.(I have and am a happy customer). many folks that buy WRXs and STIs swap out rims (I did) and the takeoffs are often sold - check the 4sale and maybe post in the wanted forum here and over at http://www.nasioc.com Carl
offroadsubaruguy
i would avoid them simply because they didnt come off of a subaru, or at leats double check the bolt pattern and the offset... it sounds like he's trying to screw you because if it fit a 92, it should fit any legacy or impreza from 90 up.... jamal
I've heard the bolt pattern was right but I'm doubtful the offset would be right. You won't have a lot of room for error with those tires on your car, either. I know of people who rubbed with 205s. Actually I did slightly before I put in camber bolts. For $800, get a set of take off Legacy GT or 06 WRX wheels. Then you'll know they have the right offset. 05-06 STi wheels don't fit, and 04 STi wheels/tires are more than likely going to be too wide.
