no 3.9 ratio,s in oz

Featured Replies

I hear a lot of guys say they have 3.9 and 3.7 ratios in there ea82 vehicle,s.

in australia there was only the 3.7 ratio..and the splines on the rx gearbox and the stock box are the same....its amazing what they send where.....also every last one has the press button reciculaton button beside the air switch.....sounds like you got a fair deal of soobs over there though..cheers..

not totally true i had a 3.9 in the rear of my aus delivered wgon as standard.but get this the front diff is 3.7 confused:brow:.The reason for the 2 different diffs is its a 3AT with a 1.1 reducution in the rear housing. Not all autos had this my turbo auto sedan was 3.7 front and rear.So many combo's

Wow, that's weird, Australia usually gets better stuff than the US, but I guess the grass is always greener, right? I bet there's a bunch of people here who would trade their 3.90s straight across.. but with shipping costs it probably wouldn't be worth it

i wouldnt agree with that

i have 3.9 ratios in my ea82 and know of lots of people that do

try ausubaru.com they'll let you know whats about in aus

cheers

Bluesteel

also L rx gearbox output sharfts are 25 splines...whereas NA/stock L boxes are 23...
