  1. yep thats the one after it - they replaced the rex with it. fwd with 660cc S/C 4 pot. there was a RXR version as well. 4wd!
  2. google both. REX is the sherpa and fiori here in Oz. there was also a 1 generation one as well that no one got. justy was available in 2wd,4wd and there was a turbo 4wd version as well (jap only.) there are a lot of the parts that are shared between the justy and the sherpa - glass and doors are common, floor pan is similar but wider in the middle for the justy. some of the inner panels swap as well. for some reason I know too much about these small cars.. as for the sambar versions - the later trucks had 4cyl S/charged engines in them. the earlier ones had a EF10s and EF12s (carbed and injected 3cyl) in them. considered buying a truck in NZ ans shipping it to Oz - but parts stopped the idea.
  3. justy is a J series car.nothing even related to the REX. I imported a 4wd RS justy in 2000 from NZ (it was a jap one NZ car didn't get A/C - mine had it.). - the EBAY one was blue and had frontal damage. it was mine - I ran out of funds to fix it and passed it onto a fellow who thought he could- ended up on ebay for $300 at last count- unsure what happened to it after that. the fiori is the subaru REX. (as was the sherpa.) google subaru REX and you will find all sorts of cool Kei cars.
  4. Sherpa and justy are two different cars - I had a KA6 for a while and it was TOTALLY different to the KM3 sherpa I had. its a good 5 " wider and 10" longer in the front. libero - not here. suzuki ,honda and diahastu did sell here but not subaru. LEONE definitely. had 2 now.
  5. I disagree there. they sold the REX here but not the truck or van. NZ got both of them.
  6. it may foul in yours as the brake booster is in the way (IE LHD.) it drops into those bodies VERY easily. use wrx mounts and all of the legacy stuff - job done. only thing stopping me is the trans x/member. once that is sorted its right to go.
  7. if you could that would be great. rear crossmember will be correct mounts may not.
  8. xt6 would do it. xt would not. ( they were 3spd here not 4.) now where do I find one since the XT6 wasn't sold here either.. actually - Oz did get the gen 1 legacy- thinking that may have the correct mounts if what I think you are saying is correct. must look. thanks! regrading brett, he's just as elusive here.
  9. actually it made sense. donor is a 96 GTB and I tried the later (albeit stuffed )mounts on what I have. trans mounts are wider than the crossmember and they are also 1" or so higher up . the height doesn't bother me the width does. had a brief search here before I asked this question. part numbers would still be handy.
  10. if I understand correctly subaru sold them with the 4EAT in them in the USA. need part numbers for: rear trans mount (think there are two of them.) middle support rear trans crossmember ( I have a 3 spd one.) OR the phone number of a northern subaru dealer ( they are easier to understand ) all so I can finish this off. loyale on top and literally a legacy GT-B underneath.
  11. legacy fronts and use a XT6 for the rear. hubs are the key bit. if you are handy use the STI bits. I have WRX under mine with the rear XT6 hubs. (which are scarce out here.)
  12. ok this may get a bit involved.. have a 88 Leone GT2 (GL10 I think your term is.) was originally manual swapped to auto. put a EJ20H in it (twin turbo from a 97 BG5 Legacy.) with all the fruit as well as a 4sp auto. I have source the loyale 4sp shifter but I DO NOT have the cable or mounting bracket that works with it. alos missing are the gearbox mounts. I DO have the legacy one and it appears the same. I'm still missing the mounting bracket that holds this cable to the shifter. does anyone have one or a picture of the bracket so I can make one. also need the box mounts (or a picture) so I can find them as well. help!
  13. I know how much is in mine and I could easily have imported a Legacy GTB for the same amount... (I built this car cause I wanted to.)
  14. there's one out here (justy sized car) thats electric. 80s subaru sherpa with a jet starter motor running at 72v - has a 200km run between charges and runs 110km at full speed. I have a spare shell and thought of a similar idea
  15. show me a photo of th diagram and I'll tell you. (I fit these for a living.)
  16. not fussed about shipping . paid $68 USD to get a set of XT6 hubs to me. if you wnat to sell it (and its a 4spd one) I will take it. do you have a bigger version of that diagram by chance?
  17. maybe. do you want to sell the instrument cluster out of the 87?
  18. ok that makes sense. the XT6 hubs I bought from the US had the holes for it but no rings. trying to retrofit ABS on my loyale wagon (front is BG5 legacy.) looks like I'm off to NZ for a look now.
  19. I have a question for the XT6 guys, did any of them have ABS?
  20. but an impreza one would. there was one that had D/R and I think a 2lt in front of it.
  21. or chuck a wrx sti drivlein in it. already looked at the 4.44 idea in a L series box. consensus out here is no.
