May 4, 200619 yr well i went out to Pacific Raceways in Kent Wa. today. I think i did alright. i went 14.696sec @ 96.28MPH with a horable take off. (didnt want to leave the trany on the track) but i think i could have done better. i was in the left lane car# 4096 -=Suberdave=- www.suberdave.com

May 4, 200619 yr your trap speed is faster than what i get in my wrx. how much boost are you running? if you let the clutch out kinda slow, you wont beat up the gears. i think my best 60' was 1.9 or 1.8, so slipping the clutch should take off a few tenths as long as you dont bog.

May 4, 200619 yr Author next time i go out i will give it a little more. i had so much going on i could hardly think. this was the first time going down the track in close to 5 years. the car is running 15PSI of boost, stock for that engine. stock management. right lane was a late 60's dodge dart. i hope for his sake it was a slant 6... -=Suberdave=-

May 4, 200619 yr Where did you shift at? and how many gears did you grab? My buddy used to up his rev. limit on his 2.5rs-T (was running a tec3 engine management) so that he wouldn't have to shift the last bit on the track. He said it was good for half a second off his time when he got used to it (he shifted higher in all the othe gears too) I'd love to see what his car would run now (2.5rs usdm wrx swap, stage 4+)

That could be the difference. Great job Dave, with a little practice, you might be able to break into the 13's.
