stavan Posted July 22, 2006 Share Posted July 22, 2006 My Subaru Legacy 1990 LS FWD Sport 2.2 Standard S/W left hand front (passenger) door stays locked all the time (it used to work two weeks ago). Electronic unlock system seems to work but doesn't stay in unlocked position. When I put the key in the lock it could not turn. The only key that works is the one on the driver’s door. JPX Posted July 22, 2006 Share Posted July 22, 2006 My 1996 Legacy sedan's rear door is stuck closed. Can't open the door from inside or outside. I think a linkage popped loose. Cougar Posted July 23, 2006 Share Posted July 23, 2006 I would check the wiring to the lock motor (solenoid?) since there may be a problem with it. Check the voltage getting to it when you activate the locks. Make sure it isn't mechanically jammed also.
