November 10, 200322 yr Methinks Mick knoweth not the power of determination, grit, Bondo and a MIG welder. C'mon, it's a split-gate wagon--if there's anything more worthy of a done-right restoration, I don't know what it is (besides an FF-1). Let's find out how much he wants and pool our resources. My Forester is rated to tow 2200 pounds, I'm pretty sure we could squeak by that a little bit and still be safe...what say you?
November 11, 200322 yr Great,I've got time to save funds for my divorce lawyer or family weekend to the great midwest. I've heard they have some good beer and pork products there.
November 11, 200322 yr It's a wagon, your wife will approve. Family weekend sounds good. Just follow me on the way back to make sure it doesn't fall off the trailer.
November 11, 200322 yr Author I'll keep looking for you guys a couple years ago, there was a 76 sedan with only 22k that sold in southern iowa....
November 11, 200322 yr I think the classic looking AMC Ramblers stopped just after 64, then they all looked like crappy american muscle cars. Was that one classic, did it sell? Thanks, Mark
November 11, 200322 yr Author all of the vehicles sold except for a really bad 73 tailgate wagon... (yes, there was 2!!!) one of the ramblers actually drove away from the site I believe... a friend of mine wanted the 47 plymouth, but got to the auction late.... it was the same year and color that his dad's was.... not sure what year the rambler was. I got there right as the auction started, and was busy trying to check out the soobs as best I could... plus I had a whiny/crying 5 year old with me.....
