Rare? 4wd Sherpa RS

Featured Replies

It's a Justy RS - we got them in the states. But that has the JDM 1.0L engine instead of the 1.2L we got here. I've seen several, but the RS is definately more rare than others.

The "sherpa" is just him comparing it to something even smaller that I've not personally heard of before - what's for sale is definately a run of the mill justy RS.

i dont think that.. here we got that subaru, but named REX instead of sherpa, i has one mine :) :) :brow::banana:

first rexs where rear motor and rear wheeel drived, but mine is a 1981 version with front motor and just front wheel drive, that looks exactly like that.

maybe that is the main diferense between rex and sherpa subarus.

Sherpa's are normally FWD here in Aus. I didn't even know you could get 4WD Sherpa's! I want one now!

GD... you have to understand that other countries got different named subies.. like the Brumby/Brat... And here we call 85 to 94 wagons, L Series. I wasn't sure if a Sherpa was a Justy till I saw this thread. Now I know.. And I have always thought 4WD Justy's were cool, so now I know how to get one, look for a Sherpa.

Point #1 - He says in the auction it's a Justy, and says it's "wider than a Sherpa"

Piont #2 - You can read on the tailgate the sticker says "Justy"

Ahh, didn't see that sticker. Also didn't relise it was a import. Still, same design as a Sherpa. Those had 4x100 wheels didn't they?

Yeah - something like that - 12" rims - really small.
