Just want to say a BIG thanks to anyone/everyone who answered all my silly questions, and helped with parts and what not. Decals from Mick are on the way, will post one last picture when I get them on.

Really great job! Glad to see it so nice and clean.I like the black on the bottom as well and makes a nice contrast.

wow!! lookin good

you guys work fast! seems like it was yesterday when i saw the pics of it all un-assembled.

some nice factory mudflaps would add a very good touch to that. i can help you out with both passenger side OEM flaps if you want them.

Thanks, I worked really hard to get it done. Got a little (and I mean VERY little) help from Tony (the b/f). Still got a few little things to do on the interior.....but other than that, I think I'm just about done..

I have all the flaps (front and rear). The guy I got the BRAT from just sorta tore them off the car (metal and all). So, I need to figure out a way to get the torn metal off of the brackets where the bolts are, 'cause they are rusted together,:banghead: and then figure out how to bolt them back on when there is nothing there (on the car) to bolt them to. I didn't get too serious about replacing missing metal and stuff when I did the work. I'll probly be sorry for that later....:o

Congrats! You SO need to make a tray of brownies, fill a cooler with beer and take that truck to the drive-in theater.

I did that with my split gate the other day and there is something wonderful about sitting in your Sube, watching B-Movies.

But with a BRAT, you actually have seats to face the screen! I love it.

Thanks a bunch for reminding me......(J/K)

Bobby

Can I buy this at an auto parts store? I'm assuming it's the same thing as the old "Knock er Loose" that we use to use right??

I had forgotten all about Billy Jack.. He's my hero :headbang:

Tell ya what...you fly on over and we'll go to a drive-in. You'll have to bring your own make-out partner 'cause you're waaaaaay too young for me. We'll sit in the back of the Brat, and I'll even provide the Brownies and Beer :drunk:

thanks to everyone for the kind words.....Bobby

Bobby-

Seeing your BRAT and thinking about Drive-Ins got me inspired. I put out a call for a San Diego Retro-Car Drive In Movie Night this weekend on myspace and I've already got 15 people coming!!!

We have everything from my 73 Splitgate Wagon to an Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser. Can you believe that?

You and everyone else are welcome to come on down Saturday night at 800. The South Bay Drive In SD. Here is a link:

Sounds like a blast! Ahhh, the Vista Cruiser. My dad had a '56 Mercury wagon, and my older brother would drive us to the movies, and we'd sit on the roof. I'd love to be there but it's a little far for me to go or I'd be there will bells on. My heart will be there with you all though.. You should call and let me know what movie you're watching....pm'd you my number. Have a beer or three for me:drunk:
