cyarmak
So here is my problem. The cover to my timing belt is broken, and i need to replace it, does anyone have any ideas where i can get a new cover? I have a 93 impreza, and after changing my belt i found that the cover is cracked, and the bolt hangers are broke off. any help would be great. Manarius
Unless you plan on going mudbogging any time soon, I wouldn't bother with replacing the cover.
Snowman
I've bought timing belt covers from Subaru before. Amazingly, they're not that expensive. Other than that, check junkyards.
ShawnW
Which cover is broken? There are 3 on the front of the engine and two that they attach to behind the timing belts and gears/idlers they turn with.

Soutthpaw
If they are SOHC then junk yard self service is your best bet. you are looking about $25 each piece at the dealer

lpasco
I work at a junk yard so it was a little easy for me to come up with them, but i know lots of yards (like us) Save almost all subaru engine parts due to the fact that if the car is hit in the front, it almost always takes out the cover or a valve cover if not worse. For that reason if those parts are good but the engine makes noise, we will save the good parts for a good engien with bad covers. keep looking because not all save that stuff.
