Featured Replies

want to compare the flanges to this nice garret turbo I got..

i'll post some tommorow

do you want the turbo side or the manifold side

exhaust side.. exhaust in and out..

thanks!

I'll tell you right now, they're not even close.

+1

If it didn't come off of a Subaru, it isn't going to be remotely close ;)

Here's a pic of a TD04 flange on a VF7 Uppipe. the measurements are nearly the same for both. One stud is very slightly different.

Found these in the gallery:

Found 'em in Northwet's gallery.

no?? it looks decently close actually.. the DP flange is very similar and looks like the inlet hole is the same size and 2 of the studs may line up...

at least not so far off I couldn't make it work..

this garret is new and I couldn't find another buyer. I'd really like to get my money's worth out of it.

thanks for the pics.. and good job with the gallery score, Mike

Imma have to look at the gallery function.. looks like a good resource.

it's a t3/t4 and I bought it on a ford focus forum.. the DP wasn't really right for that application, either.. so I'm not sure what is was for originally.

but the pics give hope rather than doubt.. which is cool.

on small thing, though.. the dp on my garret has the waste gate flap built into it and not the turbo. so I may have to use an external. also the downpipe portion itself is 90 degrees off from where it should be. but if the subaru pipe can bolt on it won't be a rea l issue.. I think the turbo was for a longitudinal four banger. or a 4-banger with the exhaust ports by the firewall

like the newer focus and some hondas.
