January 2, 200719 yr Author Im franticaly searching all import engines in the us trying to find a ea81 with low miles. they all carry ea82 long blocks. They all have been averaging like 900 to 2000 without the cost of shipping.... This sucks looks like im never gonna drive my soob again:-\
January 2, 200719 yr Did you give CCR a try?They do good work.Also if you wanted a low mile engine did you check the JY's?I have seen a couple ea81's with right at 100k.
January 2, 200719 yr Author So far I have found 3 ea81's One right there in portland. 63k they want 495 thats no to bad it is a ea81t .. 1 in virginia with 93k they want 800 with shipping. and one more in in colorado they want 895 with a core. January 2, 200719 yr Author Yeah I can but the problem is. there in the junkyard for a reason. Bad motor? And most have a $***load of miles on them.. Im trying to find good l;ow mile engine, that will be good for a while.. Plus putting a weber on an old motor is how I messed up mine. I fryed the rings and stuff

January 4, 200719 yr 2200 dollars for a tottaly rebuilt ea82 carb wow.. is that a rip or what. Holy Cow! In that case, I Suggest to Swap a EJ Series Engine instead...
