Cost for a pushbutton tranny????

Featured Replies

I am thinking about buying an 89 GL Sedan. The only thing is that the tranny is bad. It currently has a pushbutton 4WD tranny in it. What would I expect to pay for a used one in good running condition and how plentiful are used ones? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Is there anyway I could get you to e-mail me some pics of it. I am definetely interested and would be willing to come out and pick it up. Was it shifting fine before you pulled it out? I could get you the money the same day if it looks good. Thanks.

Its currently still in the parts car I have. The car was in a accident but was running fine prior to that, I drove the car a couple of miles to my house and it shifted fine. I have the engine in my RX right now. It would take me about an hour to pull, maybe less considering the engines removed already. No clutch/pressureplate or throwout bearing.

I have not called any of the yards yet. I am going to take a look at Spaldings today after work so I might find something then.

Pull And Save
Fo' sho'. Spalding will kill 'ya.

For intance...

1992 Subaru Legacy hood...

Spalding price: $127

Pull 'n' Save price: $27

Exactly $100 difference, if I recall correctly. That's horrid.
