Is there a list of independent Subaru specialists? I am looking for a mechanic in Northern New Jersey. Last guy I tried (neighborhood mechanic) was a whacko who put all wrong parts in the car.

If youre up for a drive to Scranton PA, I can point you in the direction of an indie subie specialist.

Where in Northern NJ? Broadway Automotive, in Boadway (just west of Washington, in Warren County) did a good job on my headgaskets.

Beat me to it Ron . They haven't done any work for me yet, but the people there seem good. Went for a free 'test drive' with me when I had some concerns about my steering.

Yeah I need a good shop as well for a timing belt, pump, and main seals. I remember someone saying something about a place in NJ near philly? if theres a good guy in norther NJ or CT I'd love to know as well.
