ok ive always wanted to know whats the difference/ + side to NKG spark plugs. ....if swapping out my heads(ea81) is there anything else i need to replace while im at it(besides head gaskets)...thanks

Yes u will need to replace intake gaskets and exhust gaskets. while ur at it u should get a reseal kit. rear main, front crank, ealve cover gaskets o rings.

all is included in the reseal kit for about 70 bux.

To replace the heads? It's bolted to the heads, so yes. Unless I'm misunderstanding the question.

Dude its deffenitly worth it to reseal the motor. If your oil pump is keeping good pressure and not leaking then dont mess with it. same with the water pump.

Hella yo! If it ain't broke, don't fix it, ya know. Buut if you have the motor out and all, may as well replace the rear-main, and what-not.

ok well until the deads blow the hell up i dont give a S##T.....what about the NKG spark plugs?

I have no clue why people like the NGK's over others.. My car came with Denso's and they lasted ages, I finaly replaced them because I thought they were causing a miss fire but the new NGK's were the exact same...

 

I've seen old looking bosch plugs in a EA81 at the JY, nothing wrong with them at all..

 

The way I see it, a cheap spark plug is a cheap spark plug.

don't use bosh plugs, i'v seen no differance between, ngk autolight and delco but i'll never use bosch plugs again
