February 19, 200719 yr Author we're calling it 'HARV' (high altitude rescue vehicle) it's an unmanned rescue chopper, payload: 3 people who screwed up bad anyhow, we plan on cramming 4 piston cylender engine in this thing.. (hahah....) because our prof said no turbines... :-\ anyhow, we got a little creative but yeah, how much do these engines weigh, just need an estimate for our sizing stuff.

February 19, 200719 yr Author sweet, i like that weight better than the other i found. hmm.. with 4 of those puppies running maybe we can utilize the exhaust to heat a ram jet... and maybe strap some hybrid rockets on to the bottom for some sub-orbital fun!! imagine that... you hike to 30,000ft, then you get picked up by a copter and rocket to sub orbit... mauhaahha!!! or... not...
February 20, 200719 yr With 4 rotors, that resque ROV will puree the victims no problem. Got any warning lables for the parties in trouble to stay away untill it stops?
