December 18, 200322 yr Hey Guys, according to the Oregon Rally Group's discussion board, at last nights meeting, "Mr. Black Durango" Scott is the new rally-x manager. How much do you want to bet no more Soobies at all in the Truck/Suv class. The post said that the new rules would be posted soon.---Brian
December 18, 200322 yr Author Really depends how the discussion and voting went last night. Unfortunately, I couldn't go and my only source had to leave before they actually voted on the classes.
December 19, 200322 yr I couldnt make it. I was on the road getting parts and busy getting evicted from an apartment I dont even rent (see "here's to accomplishments" thread a little later when I have time to tell the story)
December 19, 200322 yr I think, if they put us in production, you guys will be surprised by how you do. Unfortunately, most of you will be in open because of the Webers. But, I don't think this will be the end of our competetiveness. Try not to look at this as a set back but rather a challenge. We'll be back on top in no time. Then what will they do?
December 20, 200322 yr Don't worry, I've got the sweet solution to how you guys can still compete and have a great time in Open class. Ask me or Ed personally, It's an awesome idea. A little non-violent protest.
December 21, 200322 yr darn posts keep on dissapearing on me! I already contacted Ed and I liked the idea but I will try to call you later on today
December 24, 200322 yr Author Found this on the website tonight: Official policy/rules/clarifications for RallyCross are in the works. They will be posted to the website when they are available.

December 27, 200322 yr Interesting thing happened today. I went in for an emission test on the '85 Brat. In the desription screen of their computer it stated that the Brat was an SUV. I kid not. Maybe I can get some documentation from the DMV and put an end to this issue once and for all.
December 27, 200322 yr Author Cool. But it's not really how the Brat is truly classified, it's how it's perceived!!! Anyway, I don't really care at this point. I just want to know what I need to do to optimize my Brat for whatever class it's in. Did the emissions printout indicate SUV also? If so, bring it along just for laughs. I take it the weber passed. It would be nice to publish the results for those who are thinking about a weber and are concerned about passing emissions.
December 29, 200322 yr Author Decisions were apparently made at the last ORG meeting. Just waiting for the formal paperwork. Check the ORG discussion board for the confirmation.
