March 6, 200719 yr anyone know what the oil pressure on a EJ22 should be? i just finisned my swap on my lifted wagon, and off idle the oil pressure is fine (40-60PSI) but at idle it drops down to like 15PSI. is this to low? i just went through the engine all new gaskets up to and including head gaskets... -=Suberdave=- http://www.suberdave.com

March 6, 200719 yr I think that's right.... but you could hook up the oil light from the ECU and see for sure. The oil pressure light is rated at something ridiculous like 5 psi if I remember correctly. Basically if you have NO oil pressure, it comes on.

March 7, 200719 yr Author but you could hook up the oil light from the ECU and see for sure. i have the oil light hooked up also, and it never comes on. Details on gauge being used, sender, etc... the gauge is a autogauge manual gauge with the copper tube running out to the pressure sender yer just a swappin mother ************er aint ya.... im a teacher with some time off. i eather do this or get into trouble... a few pics... i know it leaks a little. i didnt put any teflon tape on it. that is fixed now... -=Suberdave=- http://www.suberdave.com
