Tail lights and rear Fog light

Featured Replies

Hi.

In the US version of the tail lights of the Loyale there are 2 reverse lamps without the fog lamp and in the Israeli (where I live) version the right have a reverse lamp and the left have a fog lamp.

When I switch from the Israeli version to the US version of the tail light I stay without a rear fog lamp but I still have in dashboard the button.

There is any solution to solve this problem? I want the US version on my Loyale (Leone in Israel) but I also want a rear fog lamp.

Thanks, Gal.

Hey- Whats a reverse fog lamp? Right , all we have here is 2 reverse lights. Fog lamps? For driving backwards on foggy mornings? Sounds cool! I'd keep that option and ditch the US style 2 rev. lights. You could wire that fog lamp button to some new fog lamps mounted on the rear of the car. Isn't the wiring the same? Didn't you just switch the tail light housings?

Weird- When would you use that "fog light"? I thought it was still a white light. I had a vision of like a tow truck with the flood lights on the back. I'd put the US lenses in, wire your 2nd reverse light to the 1st one. Then add your aftermarket fog lights to the rear and wire them to your dash switch thru the existing fog wires.

that foglight is just a rear foglight, so that on coming traffic can see you in the fog, not for reversing :P

and yeah, that's probably the same thing I would do, wire in a seperate foglight under the bumper or something, but to be honest, I would keep this configuration.

Sounds good actually- On in the fog like a single brake light? I like that idea... Why not?

My peugeot had rear fogs as well. It was simply another tail light that did not light up with the brakes.

IMO, I would use the dual reverse option and just drive around with your lights on.

I see an XT!

And I want it's wheels

:dead: Why did I sell the white brat with them on it.... WHY
