I've seen a few. They weren't real common, but then none of the EA series "sedans" were common. Wagons and Hatch's were the most common.

I thought for sure someone on here said that sedans with 4wd could only be had with single range autos. Maybe the ones you saw were converted?

Nah, I've just seen Australians wheeling sedans and got jealous since I've never seen them here.

 

But they only have like 2 hatches ha ha!

That was the coupe - only the Turbo's were 4WD, and thus were single range 3AT's.

Just thought I would add that Australia did not get any EA81 sedans with 4WD. Although I have seen quite a few in my time, especially in Queensland for some reason! It must be a relatively easy conversion with wagon parts.

 

We did get EA82 4WD sedans with either dual range manual or 3AT and of course the RX Turbo.
