Any one know if the EA81-EA82 oil pans are interchangeable?

I need to replace an EA-81 oil pan....

No, they are very different. Different bolt pattern, different capacity, different gasket.

I got a spare EA81 oil pan right now.... (I think, it's in a pile with two EA81 valve covers). I bet you can find one closer than CO though.

just forget about the pan and convert it to dry sump

Dang it, I don't like resurrecting old threads.... but I can NOT figure out if EA82 oil pans interchange....

 

There's a SPFI wagon at the junkyard that has a good oil pan, and my XT NA MPFI has a terribly dented one... Just have to make SURE they are the same.
