DESERT FOX STRIPES FOR ALL GEN II's

Featured Replies

Well I've finally finished them. These are Subaru desert fox stripes that I've scanned in and recreated in vector art. I've adjusted the sizes so that I can make sets to fit All Gen II model Subaru’s (BRAT, Hatch & Wagon). I can't really determine a price just yet because I need to know how many people are interested and do some kind of group buy. The more orders I get the cheaper they'll get, but just for a ball park figure you're looking at about $100 to $200 a set.

They are printed on a solvent printer using a high quality 3M™ self-adhesive Controltac Vinyl with Comply. Thickness 3 mils plus laminate.

Let me know if you have any questions.

That is sexy! If only mine was a solid color.!

Well I'm going to give it another week or so and if I don't get any takers then I'll just call this thing a bust and not produce them. (12 hours of my time wasted).

Maybe my gen 1 brat stripes will do better. I modeled them after this BRAT.

no, those were the colors of the originals, but I can change the colors around to whatever you want.

Is that the only color you can do?

oh, they must have come in different colors. I wonder how many color combos their were.

Ahhh. Mike_W's "desert fox" decals are tan....

Thanks Mick, I was trying to remember what color my desert fox stickers were. I just remembered that they were kind of sexy and that I didn't have a car nice enough to wear 'em.

I'll be moving soon and in the process I bet I'll find my set of stickers. If I find them, would it help to see what the colors look like or can you change the color scheme digitally?

When you guys copy stickers, do they have to be applied to the vehicle, stuck onto a flat surface or what? I wouldn't mind volunteering my stickers for copying if it didn't trash them. I feel kind of bad hording them all this time but I kept thinking I'd pick up a sweet car to 'em on and then I just got sidetracked with life.

No I don't have to stick them to anything. All I do is take off the transfer tape then lay them flat on the ground and put my scanner on it. For the long pieces I scan them in sections and place them back together in Photoshop. If you do run across them I'd love to see them so that I can match the colors. I imbed PMS color codes in my files so that the printers know what colors to match. I haven't got much interest on here for them but I might invest in a couple sets to sell on ebay. My BRAT stripes are selling like crazy on their and I don't think every Subaru enthusiast is on this message board.
