December 23, 200718 yr Author here she is almost done just needs some tranny fluid and a new axle and shes ready to rock. (oh and the sterio :-P) i was up all night and still am up but it was worth it the bugga sprung a leak o ring from the water pump pipe so i had to fix that then put her new shoes on how dose she look. im thinking of putinga bow on her and suprizing my Gf (((she dosent know its done)))
December 23, 200718 yr whats wrong with working in the street, i did my last clutch in my rx in the street in front of hte house. dont care what the neighbors think, lol. Illegal in my town, other than maybe changing a tire. Too much chance of fluids draining into the storm drain. I actually called the cops on a guy who was pulling an automatic tran from a ford van in the street, and letting all the ATF drain out onto the ground(he didn't plug the tailshaft) Now if you are reponsible, I really don't see anything wrong with working in the street, but this guy was blantanly NOT. They wrote him a ticket and put down a bunch of drie-sorb to soak it up beofre it washed down the drain. No worries about that in the living room eh?
