It hasn't had an effect on driveability yet. This in on an EA81T, but I was wondering if this part is common on other EA81 vehicles. Common enough that I could just go to the junkyard and get the part or if I have to start looking for a donor turbo car. I've looked at my books, but can't find definitive evidence as to what part that exactly is. This is where you come in. Is it one of the two connectors marked in red? Durania Posted January 28, 2008 Share Posted January 28, 2008 Maybe something to do with A/C. My 2 non-turbo, non-A/C EA81's does not have that looking part. I can't seem to find anything in my FSM or supplement that comments on exactly what that part is. Where did you find this evidence? I'll probably head out there tomorrow morning.Well, if it isn't an EA81, I stand corrected. However, it said XT turbo on the rear trunk. Looked to me to be the 4 cylinder wedge. carfreak85 Posted December 8, 2008 Author Share Posted December 8, 2008 Final conformation on the problem I was having: The plastic connector for the air temperature sensor had melted on the down pipe, shorting the relay.
