Modded Legacy plate, or a bespoke EA82 piece? Looks sick either way! :slobber:

You're right, it was a plate for a 98 Legacy Outback that was modded to fit.

just out of curiosity.....why do you not have anything covering the exhaust?thats a nono.cheers, brian

It covers the downpipes enough until they bend to go to the cat, besides a car can run fine without exhaust but not so fine without an oil pan. ;)

until a rock works its way up and bends the exhaust just hard enough to yank an exhaust stud out .

and then you helicoil it and think it is good.until the motor heats up the fissure crack you created and all of your oil comes pouring out on your way to work.and you have to switch motors because the head is screwed!

only happened to me once.but , just sayin.i put a full skidplate on after that.cheers, brian:lol:

very nice:slobber: :slobber: :slobber: .have you considered having it anodized?

most of us have seen aluminum thats anodized.alot of color choices and even clear.,but its usually applied for protection.most parts have a brushed(dull)appearance.But...............,have you ever seen polished aluminum after its anodized. purdy..... good job:cool:
