March 3, 200818 yr On my way to Sacramento,l delivered stuff to KING SOOPER In Denver,Co. And saw this daily driver. What the heck is this thing????
March 3, 200818 yr Looks like a Pinzgauer 710M. They are a high mobility military vehical used by Switzerland and Austria.
March 3, 200818 yr They have a club here in CO. I see 4-8 of them taking off into the hill here in Teller County every summer. Those can go places even Jeeps can't.
March 4, 200818 yr Author PICTURES DONT QUITE DO IT. That thing was engineered. I want one before i go to heaven:grin:
April 24, 200817 yr Those can go places even Jeeps can't. stock jeeps maybe... after the real jeeper has gone through the Just Empty Every Pocket routine... those wouldn't have a chance, top heavy and limited flex. great ground clearance, great for military invasions and great gearing though.
April 28, 200817 yr my local army surplus owner imports these and sells them for 8 to 12000 cdn dollars, when i worked in the oil patch i almost bought one.... they are so sweet. He also imports unimogs, someone here in town has one thats bobbed, flat deck, etc. I almost crapped myself when i saw that thing.

Exactly. They're awesome all-terrain vehicles, but they couldn't touch a jeep when it comes to rock crawling!
April 28, 200817 yr gary, by the looks of it, they have geared hubs and so the axles are slightly higher than you would expect them to be. They are there, just thicker and higher then on a subaru.

May 6, 200817 yr Portal axles could be neat on a subaru...just top speed would be halved, but tire size could be doubled or 1.5 if you want some gearing...
March 26, 200917 yr ya there cool but i've taken my jeep places they couldn't even fit though. JEEP ON!!!
