  1. I would rebuild the 283. Unless you're trying for more preformance, the original engine is more valuable. Parts are easy to get for any small block chevy. I would also stick with the original Carb and intake. about the only upgrade I'd do is install a Pretronics unit in place of the Points. It's a very easy and well hidden mod that makes life easier.
  2. Put the car on a sever diet. sheding as many pounds as possable will make a differance
  3. Primer coats provide NO protection from rust you must cover with a paint coat to seal out air. If youre going to touch up later just use andy spray PAINT to cover the prime.
  4. Why would you want to? A Steering stabalizer is a week crutch that won't cure any drivability probelms. If you think you need one I'd start looking at your steering components. Unless you are running a straight axle. and dumped you rack and pinion
  5. Looks like a Pinzgauer 710M. They are a high mobility military vehical used by Switzerland and Austria.
  6. Check the VIN number GL Wagon 4WD (manual): JF1AM53BXEE 4 speed manual dual range DL Wagon 4WD (manual): JF1AM52BXED 4 speed single range
  7. I'm pretty sure to get a E82 wagon to Average 95MPH you need a 90 mile long down hill.
  8. I bought one off EBay. It has a lot of Info. I think it was worth the small price.
  9. 1968 Corvette convertiable. 1995 GMC Ext cab 6.5 turbo diesel 1988 Chevrolet surburban 6" lift 35" thornbirds & 1 ton Axles 4.10 with Posi 1989 Chevrolet Blazer 1957 Chevrolet 6400 Truck 1954 Piper Pacer 1966 Cessna 150
  10. How do I know if the ACM is Bad . to Make the car run I Ran a hot wir to the fuel pump. It ran real well. I bought the car not running. Well I finally found the ECM under the rear shelf.in the trunk. Before I reassemble the complete interior I'd like to Know if its the ECM or something else thats causing the original problem. I also Can't find the fuel pump relay. It would help if I knew what it looked like. Thanks Dave
  11. You have an oddball attachment on the sparkplug wire.
  12. Mine Had a broken hose between the struts let all the air out. 15 minutes to replace the hose & it works again. If you have no air you can't drive because yopu'll have no suspension. I don't see enough room for a 6 cyl. Mine is pretty tight.
