Not sure you could do that with my 350lbs XR650L.

Home made or custom maybe, wouldn't be hard but wouldn't want to over load it,trailer might be better

Interesting idea. Can't remember what the roof rack crossbar capacity is, but the Baja is rated to carry ~1,000 lbs. in the bed, and ~600 lbs on the tailgate alone, so the overall weight's no problem. Personally I prefer the ones where the ramp is also a short extension off the end of the tailgate, but this idea's much more compact and there shouldn't be much actual weight up high. I like it!

I humbly disagree and would rather pull the weight than carry it,just my opinion that has always worked for me.

 Looks like 10lbs of ***** in a 5lb bag to me!

But then again; a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do!!

Then again,maybe a Baja won't pull a trailer or a 5# bag of **** in a 10 lb

bag, just having fun:grin: whatever works for you

It looks like nice work. I'm a big fan of ingenuity. And if it works for the guy, who the heck am I?

That was the first picture that I saw. At first glance, I thought it was for a wheel-chair.

For a light bike, its a great idea.
