April 23, 200817 yr high mileage but as long as it was well cared for......i would buy it if i had 12k......
April 23, 200817 yr Generally cars that arent that old with tons of mileage on them are well cared for. The owners couldnt afford to be without a car, since its for business. nipper
April 24, 200817 yr Certainly looked clean enough. I agree with Nipper, for a 2005 model to have over 100K miles on the odo, it must have been a salesman's car. So, prolly most of the miles are highway miles, and that is good. I am surprised that the seller is offering a 7 year 100K power train warranty. I don't think that I have ever seen a car warranted beyond 200K miles. Suggest checking several car pricing books like Kelly, Edmunds, etc to see what retail pricing is on the car. Since it has over 100K miles, there should be a substantial reduction in price, because of the high milage. If you like what you see on line, check it out in person. See how it drives. Good luck, it may well be a very nice car.
April 24, 200817 yr Author Thanks for the input. the car is for my gf, im not sure who will enjoy the turbo more, her or me:banana: I think ill just take the motor and throw it in the buggyroo.
April 24, 200817 yr Nice car. An '05 with that many miles must be a lot of highway. Price isn't bad. Go for it!
April 24, 200817 yr Its just aint fair you can get the turbo in the legacy over there. (now i will get complaints that we have the Boxer Diesel ) Looks nice although i can not have any opinion about the price. I know 100K miles in US is different than 160K km in europe (different roads)
