Correct Fun Roof Storage

Featured Replies

Wanting to know the most convenient method for storing my brat t-tops in the behind the seat straps. The manual shows them standing on their ends. To me, this would create an excess weight on the insert tabs. What do you other Brat owners do?

Granted I haven't been able to take my Brat out yet, but mine doesn't have the straps behind the seat you are referring to. I do have the fun tops but a storage box in the middle behind the seats and am figuring if I take them off I'll just keep them in the garage, and if on and decide to take off I'll just open them up instead of removing them.

Newsoobdude: can you get a picture of this storage box?

I had always stored mine as recommended, never had a problem with excess weight.

I used to take roadtrips to San Francisco and there is nothing cooler than crossing over the Golden Gate bridge in the middle of the night with the tops out and the heat cranked up. Good Times:banana:

Durania, will do. Unfortunately it'll not be able to happen until Friday or Saturday. I don't think it's a factory box, but then again.....

Same here when I had a Brat. Or I would just leave them at home and hope it didn't rain.
