June 20, 200817 yr I entered my SVX in a local public voting contest but I need as many votes as I can get if I stand any chance of winning. The site is http://rankmyride.ca and the direct link to my car is: http://autos.winnipegfreepress.com/index.php?action=rankmyride&step=details&id=151 Simply click the link and, when it loads, click "5" (or whatever you feel like voting) It won't help me to vote "1" for other cars. You can vote once every day per IP address. I was ranked as high as 4th but currently am in 5th place. Every vote helps and is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
June 21, 200817 yr Author i'm in for 5... but if you win a bag of candy you have to share. I'll share...come to Winnipeg and boose it up on the boat ride with us as part of the winning prize. BTW, if you have a dynamic IP (like mine) you can renew and vote multiple times a day.
June 24, 200817 yr Author Apparently they called my car a rust bucket! Sure there's a bit of rust but, all things considered (mileage, yearly driver), it's better than most cars of that vintage. I think I will need a lot more votes coming in daily to win this thing now.
June 25, 200817 yr Author It might be a good idea to vote down the RX-7 too. You would think so but even voting a "1" will help them. Think of it as adding 1 to his total. Not voting for him is like giving him a "0"

June 25, 200817 yr Author Do they take total votes into account? With winner is the one with the highest (#votes * vote_average) Really it works out to: if you vote a 1 I get a point, if you vote a 5 I get 5 points.
June 25, 200817 yr Author nice subaru, why i can not vote at that site?? i want to give 5You can vote once per day per IP address. If you have a way to change your IP then you can vote multiple times per day. I'd be voting non-stop but I fear the people running the contest will be watching out for patterns like that. Also, I've seen instances where the page fails to load in IE. Loads fine in Firefox.

July 9, 200817 yr Author Only 3 voting days to go! http://autos.winnipegfreepress.com/index.php?action=rankmyride&step=details&id=151 Last bump before it's over. I'm counting on you to help put me over the top. Remember to vote once a day per IP address (eg. once from work and once from home)
