anyone one done this ive done seaches and cant find anything if i dont sell my rx soon i wast to put the ea82t in my brat... bolt in mod except for wireing and frame boxing? anyone have wiring diagrams? and i want to bolt this up to ea81 4speed d/r tranny

You would need a cross-member from an EA81 Turbo to clear the up-pipe. Fuel system would have to be changed as well.

there have been a few that have done this swap. and like GD said, you will need the turbo x-member, or you can do like i am going to do and get a custom header made for it.

 

you will need to not only replace the fuel pump, but hte filters, rubber lines and im not sure, but possibly the tank, but i doubt that you will have to go that far. you do need to make sure that the fuel line you use is rated for fuel injection though.

 

wiring will be an adventure, but shouldnt be too hard.

 

just remember, it will take time to get everything put together. i think the flywheel will bolt up to the engine, but i would reccomend gettting an upgraded clutch kit for the brat since you will be adding an extra 40hp and tq over the ea81, even more if you have any upgrades to the ea82t.
