December 20, 200817 yr Are the AT axles different in the rear then push button or D/R rear axles. I know that the fronts are different but was wondering about the rears, if they where 25 spline too, in stead of 23 spline Jeff
December 20, 200817 yr I believe all EA82 rear axles are the same. As with all EA81s are the same. But you can't swap EA81 to EA82 or vice-versa.

BUT, they are completely interchangeable. length, and spline count on both ends are the same.

I know that the fronts are differentunless i'm missing something, that's not true for EA82's. the only difference that doesn't allow them to interchange on the front is the spline count on turbo and non-turbo axles. otherwise all fronts are interchangeable between auto/manual and left/right.

But it is good to know the fact that older ones had a DOJ. ...front is the spline count on turbo and non-turbo axles. otherwise all fronts are interchangeable between auto/manual and left/right. True.
