Brown, lifted, black Pug steelies.

Spotted in Douglas County Nevada, on the southbound side of 395 across the street from the Indian Chevron.

Greenley, is this yours?

Not often is a lifted Subaru spotted around these parts, so it caught my eye.

Yes, yes it's mine and it, and my GF, are home safe :)

Nothing more than a coolant leak gone wild.

At least she knew to pull over when it got hot

Good lookin' out Dave !

Good to hear, keep that thing on the road. How bad of a leak was it?

It's a pretty gnar leak, coming from the DS of the engine area.

Not associated with any of the obvious hoses,

and it only occurs when it's up to operating temp.

So far i'm stumped but my flashlight died and it's too cold out anyway

Check your heater hoses over carefully.

Few years back, I bought an '84 BRAT. Was told it had a bad HG as to cause of leak. Found pin-hole in heater hose that sprayed toward the head area and ran down off engine. Easy fix...

Yeah, I later saw you just leaving the Chevron..I honked, but you probably didn't recognize me. I was driving a red '09 Explorer and was waiting in line at the carwash, when you did a few doughnuts in the Mott Canyon Bar parking lot :brow: (in your wagon) before leaving.

Hey, that sounds like my kind of ill behavior !

Update on the issue.. It did not leak at all when i drove it this morning.

Seems to be an intermittent problem, which is hard for me to grasp.

No headgasket symptoms, runs quite cool actually.

Check the hose that runs underneath your alternator.
