Anyone want to do a simple meet and greet in the next month or two; maybe another meet-up at the A&W like we did last winter?

Actually it doesnt matter too much to me where it is, I just need to know enough in advance to get the day off cause I usually work weekends.

I would like to do this on a Sunday, maybe the 15th or 22nd of Feb. That way a friend of mine who has Sundays and Mondays off can come.

 

Any suggestions on a location? Ideally some place that we can get some food and has plenty of parking.

The Mikes Drive In on the corner of Hwy 224 and Harrison St. in Milwaukee (by the Dominos where I work) has a halfway decent sized lot. There is some room in the gravel (kinda of an unpaved overflow area) too (not rugged enough to have any fun in though , but smooth enough that Imprezas could park there )

Yeah I was thinking that one of the Mike's drive-ins would be great, But dosen't that on only have like 5 tables or has it expanded since I was there last. The one in sellwood is much bigger and has more parking.

Yeah, you're probably right. The one in Sellwood would be better.

sounds like fun. the more subarus together at one time the better. that's why I like Hondasucks house so much, there's so much variety to look at.

Well I just got done talking to my friend that could only make it on Sundays. It turns out that he has EMT classes on Sundays until April. So on that note either Saturday or Sunday works now. How about the 14th of FEB, that way we can all take our special someones to a Subaru meet for Valentines Day.

I did a little scouting... the sellwood Mikes has a small lot (not much room at all, and NO overflow) but many tables.

 

The one in Milwaukee which I first proposed has about the same size parking lot, but some dirt next to it and the railroad which we could house extra cars if tons of people showed up. They have 4 picnic tables there, but I would probably just sit in the back of my wagon anyway...

 

So I once again re-propose the idea of the Harrison St. and Hwy 224 Mikes Drive In location. (In Milwaukee)

Oh and I could probably manage lunch there, but dinner I have better plans for me and my "cluelesscarchick"

I can probably make it for lunch. And my wife likes Mike's.

Sounds good to me. Is it agreed that we do it at the one on 224 and Harrison St? (4 picnic tables plus the rear bumper of many soobs should be plenty of seating... definitely more parking room there)

well if there was no plans I was going to suggest pietros (sp?) in down town milwaukie at night mainly cause of I can't do it during the day on weekends cause of work (yeah I know I suck but 10% extra pay to work special work week is good)

Ya... I could show up with some $5 dominos pizzas (since I work there) and we could eat in the Peitros parking lot

Hmm I wanted to do it around lunchtime so that my friend that I mentioned earlier could show up during his lunch break. I guess we could do it in the evening though if that's what everyone wants.
