fleming442
Just wondering what the popular consensus is for water repellant latch lube........ The wife aborted mission on our 02 OBW because the door wouldn't latch. I was just going to squirt some WD-40/ JB-80 followed be some GM Lubri-Plate. Any suggestions? ericem
Get some silicone spray. First I suggest you wipe all the seals clean, THEN spray all the rubber seals, and the hinge and latch. Do this for all the doors, I guarantee you, on a below 0 F day the doors will open and close without a hitch
nipper
Wite lithium grease should be used on all dorr hinges, locks etc. Car may just need a good lcok cleaning then re-lubing. nipper
