going to exhaust shop Saturday, need to know what size pipe to run after glasspack

tired of my ears ringing from glasspack dumping behind my seat

um well the same size as the glass pack outlet?

 

2" is usually sufficient and will keep noise down a bit.

I think I've got 2.5" on mine, and it works quite well.

right now i have a short short glass pack mounted all the way at the end of the exhaust where the stock muffler would be

if you wish, have a new center pipe made to have the glasspack after the ypipe flange, use a 2 inch bomb, and run as fat as you want pipe out the back. the ypipe will do the scavenging, the glasspack will do the backpressure, anything after that is just pure flow.

I used 2", improved both low end and top end with this setup
