March 2, 200917 yr Just curious. Does this make sence? I am thinking I will replace it on my 94 SS. Car got awesome fuel economy especially the way it was being driven always in boost. Got like almost 450km per 50L. Seems like it uses more gas on a short trip, If you drive it alot throughout the day it is pretty good though. Does the turbo and non turbo motor use the same ECU coolant sensor? Thanks!

March 2, 200917 yr I had the temp sensor go bad on a 93 Impreza. There were no warning lights. Sometimes no problems starting and then other times no starting. The sensor is suspect on all Subaru's Is it still the same for all the engines?
October 17, 200916 yr Does any one have the resistence versus temp specs for the engine(ecu) temp sensor? 91 legacy, 2.2 NA mt fwd car. Yes I have searched the board, could not find thanks, am having a cold start problem that is fine after warm up. Please dont say replace it anyway, not interested in "shotgunning" the problem, can throw parts at it all day long..... thanks
October 17, 200916 yr crank or cam sensor is more likely than the CTS, try and test those if you can find the spec's for those. don't know CTS spec's.

October 18, 200916 yr Thanks, this more or less matches my Chiltons and what I measured today after removal. So i dont think CTS is it To clarify my problem(my bad for not writing in detail) is not starting cold, it is idling-runs great with foot on gas until warms up, other wises dies during shifting and at stop lights-warms up within half mile to mile first thing in am depending on how cold got overnight. thanks for your help, may clean the IAC AGAIN, does any one have a 2 wire IAC for 91 Legacy MT FWD non turbo
October 18, 200916 yr IAC is a good call. I've never seen/heard of one failing, but obviously it can happen. A cleaning usually does it. You should be able to test it, open or closed. Might want to try some quick sprays of carb cleaner/spray to test for vacuum leak too. Post in the Parts Wanted forum for an IAC if you'd like one. Should be plenty of folks with one lying around on the board here. I have a few but no time. I laughed: Please dont say replace it anyway, not interested in "shotgunning" the problem, can throw parts at it all day long..... does any one have a 2 wire IAC for 91 Legacy MT FWD non turbo
