got too work out some of the wire mess but that aint gonna take long

Subaru gives us 2 lights, so lets make it 10. BRIGHT. All cars should be lit this way, so we can see the Deer and coons, and possums sooner. I would love to go shine that at a particular ex girlfriends front window every so often to piss her off.

I would of put aircraft landing lights on it like i got on my bronco but they are a pain to rig up and i wasn't sure if the thing could take it. Although 8 24v 250w acl's would be kickass on it:grin:

looks like your headlights are a little dim? Have you done the relay mod? Its a must before adding any lights to an older car I reckon

I haven't done any thing with the head lights yet, kinda jumped the gun with the added lights:lol:

relay mod?

Relay mod- Using the existing headlight switch and wiring to trigger two relays behind each light, getting their power straight from the battery. Makes the headlights much brighter, and makes the wiring and switch last much longer.

I do have two questions, though-

How long can you run them before the battery dies, and

Is that brush guard PVC?

relay mod?
Because atm the power for the headlights has to go through the steering stalk switch, and most of the time you loose over a volt in that. In my brumby my headlights were getting 10.5 volts while the car was running on highbeam (battery at 13.5v). After putting in relays the headlights had 13v at them. Much brighter

how is the glare off the hood?

The dirt keeps the glare down most of the time:lol:

1 Haven't tested battery death yet but i carry a spare with me most of the time

2  Yes they are pvc, I don't got a good reason for it. Just wanted to see if i could do it. The nice thing is that they don't rust...

Well the PVC brush guard is certainly better than nothing.

Its purely cosmetic just a "test" project to see how much it can take, and so far its been quite surprising how tough it been:)

Kinda Reminds me of..

I miss her loud engine, no power and little heat..... She was a death trap on wheels I need to get a new one.

If you haven't already, you might want to upgrade your alternator. Search for GM 100, or Maxima 90 amp. I'm thinking you'll need the 100+!!!
