March 17, 200917 yr Did they change the format of the ac alternator locations from the factory ac to the aftermarket ac. OR did they just change it around in latter years. 1st pic is of my white 88 wagon 2nd pic is of my green 93 wagon.
March 17, 200917 yr from what i understand factory ac is inbetween alt and ps, dealer installed is outside of alt.
March 21, 200917 yr Let me Explain: Usually EA82 Subies came with Hitachi A/C Compressor, which comes Between the Power Steerin` Pump and the Alternator, but there was an Option that came with Panasonic A/C Compressor, which comes in the Place where the Others Has the Alternator. As Far as I Know, Both came Stock like That... Kind Regards.
March 22, 200917 yr in my 86 xt mpfi the ac is to the left of the alt much like the second pic. so what loyale said makes sense. but i wonder if the lack of p/s on my xt has anything to do with it?
March 22, 200917 yr Dealer installed (matsushhitaa/panasonic) uses 11o mm waterpump Factory installed (hitachi) uses 105 mm waterpump
