I have a 1994 Impreza Sedan. How do you remove the light casing to replace the bulb? I can't see any screws or bolts because it is all covered.

look inside the trunk for a removable panel???????

Yes, it's in the trunk. Peel back the interior plastic/carpet and there will be an access panel

There's a rectangular access panel inside the trunk behind the tail-light housing on each side. Remove the panel and twist off (1/4 turn CCW) the bulb holder, replace the bulb and re-install.
