April 18, 200916 yr http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/96-99-SUBARU-LEGACY-OUTBACK-EJ25-JAPANESE-ENGINE-JDM_W0QQitemZ250408912185QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item250408912185&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=72%3A1171%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 I have heard of JDM engines on here--how many sources are there? Anyone had good or bad stories about them?
April 19, 200916 yr There is a JDM place in Pattersen/Patterson NJ much closer to you. I've still never done a JDM.
April 20, 200916 yr Not sure, probably want to do your homework first. It seems I remember seeing some posts where the engines are not necessarily plug and play electrically (sensor types etc). Also maybe has something to do with various emission requirements? A main thing is...if you had EGR.
April 20, 200916 yr I would not look at a place with only 11 feedbacks. there are many more out there which are trusted, JHot, etc come to mind. Do NOT get a twin turbo jdm, they won't work. Also, be aware you will have to reuse a USDM intake and the sensors associated with for the most part
April 20, 200916 yr you can just buy a $900 EJ25 from me with the headgaskets already replaced. JDM - still has the original head gaskets on it, not a good value in my opinion.
