what a huge diffrence! part of the reason is i found a rats nest in the intake box. but anyway without the silencer the hesitation i had before is gone. it sounds like a honda now though

You Mean like a Hair Dryer, isn`t it? ...

When I had my baja I popped the air intake apart just before it went into the air filter box.

 

Did seem to improve low-end a little... and I actually liked the low growl I got under HARD acceleration.
